Curar est une œuvre à mi-chemin entre musique et son ; entre art sonore et installation.
C’est un processus, un drone lentement évolutif - toujours le même et toujours différent.
Je voulais faire quelque chose qui tendrait vers la médecine sonore, voire la sorcellerie musicale.
Le dispositif technique est ici à l’image de la musique, réduit à sa plus simple expression : deux synthétiseurs analogiques réglés pour improviser selon des règles simples.

En ancien occitan, « curar » signifie soucier, soigner, curer, récurer, nettoyer et guérir.
En occitan moderne, « curar » signifie soigner et curer.
En catalan, « curar » signifie avoir soin de, se soucier de, s'occuper, veiller à, guérir et soigner.
En castillan comme en portugais, « curar » signifie assainir, guérir et soigner.

En. :

Curar is a work between music and sound, between sound art and installation.
It's a process, a slowly evolving drone, always the same and always different.
I wanted to make something like sonic medicine.
I used two analog synths: Arturia Minibrute and Roland SH101.
This piece should be better experienced between good speakers or with a good headphones pair.
